History

Fellowship Bible Institute is a school of theology. Founded by the late Dr. Dessie Webster in San Francisco, California in 1953. It was her dedication to biblical leadership and concern for the community that led her to the founding of the Institute. Dr. Webster served as an educator, administrator, evangelist, children's worker, hospital chaplain, family counselor and urban missionary. Dr. Webster often quoted the scripture, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." Proverbs 29:18.
